For Underwriters and MGAs
CyberScore is a 22-question self-assessment that Australian small business owners complete in plain English. It maps to the ACSC Essential Eight and the controls on a typical cyber proposal form: MFA, backups, patching, endpoint protection, staff awareness.
Many small businesses do not know what MFA or offline backups are until the proposal form asks.
CyberScore asks the same questions in plain language and explains why each one matters, so answers are more considered.
A readiness report gives the broker and the client a shared view of the gaps before a quote is sought.
Scoring uses a structured risk approach informed by the FAIR model. See Methodology.
We are inviting three underwriters or MGAs to help shape CyberScore during our broker pilot.
CyberScore is new. The assessment has not yet been validated against claims data, and no insurer currently uses it for pricing. The pilot is how we will build that evidence, with your input.
Pilot data is shared only in anonymised, aggregated form. Individual business results are never shared without that business's consent. See our Privacy Policy.
